Yanan Deng is currently Project Operations Manager, Sustainable Transition Center (STC), WRI China. She assists the Center Director in the management and coordination of the STC’s affairs. She is also taking responsibility for the STC’s overall project management by working closely with Region Leads, Sector Leads, Project Leads and the team members for the full cycle of management of the project planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, reporting of the STC projects.

Yanan has rich experience of Project Management for more than 16 years. Before joining WRI China, Yanan worked for Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), Asian Development Bank (ADB) and ICF.

Yanan obtained her bachelor’s degree in law from Peking University.
